When to order your Invitations
Information about Timing: Following traditional guidelines, you should order your invitations approximately 12 weeks (3 months) in advance of your event. Once we have received your completed Invitations Order Form, our turnaround time is approximately 3 business weeks from start to finish. Rush orders can be accommodated with a rush fee. Please see our Frequently Asked Questions page for more information regarding Rush orders.
Information about our Turnaround Time: After we have received your completed Invitations Order Form, and your invitation wording in a Word Document, it takes about one to two business days for you to receive a proof via e-mail. Once you have approved your final proof, it takes approximately 7 to 10 business days to print your order. Shipping is via UPS Ground (3-5 business days). Expedited shipping is available for rush orders.
Information about Re-printing Invitations: Please consider the quantities of Invitations, RSVP cards and Thank You Note Cards carefully before you place your order. Based on our experience, you will undoubtedly need more invitations than you might think. Please note that it is significantly LESS expensive to order additional Invitations, RSVPs and Thank You Note Cards at the beginning of the ordering process rather than to add additional pieces to your order as add-ons at the end of the process. Once we receive approval of your proof we send your order to be printed. Quantities must be firm BEFORE proof approval is given. Invitation reprints take an additional 1-2 weeks to process, thus delaying the mailing of your invitations. Please contact the studio for Re-print pricing.
Information about Sending your Invitations and Save The Date Cards: Traditionally, it is advisable to send out invitations six to eight weeks prior to your event. The RSVP (respond by) date should be three to four weeks prior to your event.
If you know you are having a party for an event that is several months away, consider sending a Save The Date card. This is simply a notice to your guests to alert them that you are planning an event and to kindly mark their calendars so they’ll be prepared when the invitation follows. It is suggested that Save The Date cards be mailed six to twelve months in advance of your event.
